101 Things in 1001 Days

January 1st means the start of New Year’s resolutions. If you’re anything like me, by the end of the first week, you’ve already failed at meeting your goal. OR, is that just me?! (*GULP) My goal every year is to lose weight. I go to the gym the first week and it’s super packed. Then, just a week later, the gym is so empty! *crickets chirping (chirp..chirp) Life either gets in the way… or my bestie, Dominos, does!

I’ve been seeing 101 Things in 1001 Days making its way around the blogging world and thought it was such a good idea! You basically give yourself 1,001 days to accomplish 101 goals. Why 1,001 days? Because it gives you time to reach your short and long-ish term goals. These aren’t just your goals like lose 10 pounds, but it also includes those little things you’ve been wanting or needing to do, you just haven’t really made an effort to make time to do them. That or Netflix binging just sounds like a better idea.

I made a list of mine and wanted to share it in hopes that it will not only hold me accountable, but that it’ll give y’all some inspiration to start your own list! If anyone is down to complete some with me, let me know! I’d rather not try all these new fun things by myself! I mean, who wants to play in sumo-wrestling suits by themselves? Not me! Also, if you have any recommendations or tips for finishing my list, feel free to let me know!

I’ll be updating this list as I complete them so that YOU and I can see my progress! So if I say I’m going to workout out every day for one month and it’s not all over social media (because if it’s not on social media, I mean, did it even happen?) then you can yell at me like.., ‘Diana..what’s up.. you’re not working out..and you said you were going to..” 🙂

Shadow a photographer
Go at least a week without listening to “today’s music”. Only praise and worship
Pay off my credit cards
Do not buy anything for myself for one whole month
Reconnect with an old friend
Embrace my age
Volunteer for a cause I’m passionate about
Unplug completely for 24 hours (no internet, phone, television, etc.)
Learn how to tie a tie
Put $10 into savings for every goal accomplished
Master the manual mode on my camera
Improve my graphic design skills
Help Jordan accomplish 5 of his goals
Complete 15 random acts of kindness
Do 5 things that scare me
Finish my sister’s album of pre-wedding activities



Get a paid marketing internship
