How to make working out a habit

How to make working out a habit-1

Working out consistently is hard for those of us who hardly ever go. I made a commitment to make exercise a habit instead of just going every once in a while. So my goal was to exercise every single day for a month and I reached my goal! They say you build a habit after 21 days? Well, it definitely feels like a habit now!

These are some tips that helped me reach my goal. Continue reading

101 Things in 1001 Days

101 Things in 1001 Days

January 1st means the start of New Year’s resolutions. If you’re anything like me, by the end of the first week, you’ve already failed at meeting your goal. OR, is that just me?! (*GULP) My goal every year is to lose weight. I go to the gym the first week and it’s super packed. Then, just a week later, the gym is so empty! *crickets chirping (chirp..chirp) Life either gets in the way… or my bestie, Dominos, does! Continue reading

Winston’s 1st Birthday Pawty

Winston's 1st Birthday Pawty | Lovely Little Obsessions | first birthday party cake and happy birthday banner

If you follow me on Instagram, Snapchat, or Facebook, you already know my extremely clear obsession with my english bulldog, Winston. Winston turns two today and that makes me so sad! Last year, we threw him a birthday pawty ( get it?!) I decided to throw him another little birthday party this year because I know I would feel too guilty NOT to.

Here is a recap of his 1st birthday party last year. Come back next week to see this year’s birthday party! Shout-out to my brother-in-law for most of the pictures. Continue reading

My Cancun Vacation Diary

Cancun Mexico Summer Vacation

Hi Y’all!

I went to Cancun for the first time several years ago for my cousin’s wedding and fell in love with it. The water and white sandy beaches is SERIOUSLY amazing. When my parents asked me to plan out the family trip there I was more than ecstatic! There are so many places to visit over there that I feel like you would need about 2 weeks to see everything. We went for 7 days and we didn’t get to do everything that we had planned on. (We always take a little too long looking for souvenirs for everyone!) Here’s my little diary from my Cancun vacation!

Day 1: We arrived in the afternoon so we just spent the day getting settled into our rooms and hanging out at the beach. We also went to one of the many restaurants on the resort’s property. It was my parents first time seeing a real white sandy beach. They had been to South Padre Island and Galveston beach. But you guys, that is nothing compared to the paradise that Cancun is! Both of my parents were in awe when they saw how turquoise the water is! Continue reading

Garden Themed Bridal Shower

Garden Themed Bridal Shower Decorations DecorI’m sorry I haven’t posted in a while. These past three weeks have been insanely busy! I’ve been helping my boyfriend move, Winston tore his ACL and got a cyst in between his toes so we’ve been giving him extra love and attention. Also, in case you don’t follow me on Instagram or Facebook, we took a family trip to Cancun, and I have spent the weekend celebrating my birthday 🙂 So my life has been a little chaotic! But it’s time to get back to business!

In one of my previous posts I had mentioned that we hosted a bridal shower for one of my sisters, Abi. I’m extremely addicted to Pinterest. Like, REALLY addicted. If you take a look at my Pinterest account, you’ll get a glimpse into my future. My future house, my future kids’ clothing, my future travel destinations, all the recipes that look delicious (I mean, I’ll admit.. I pin recipes and have never cooked any of the meals. Guilty!) You will also find what my wedding will be like. I am sure we can all admit that we picture what our wedding will be like, what kind of dress we’ll wear, what kind of centerpieces will sit on our tables, what flavored cake we’ll have, or even the type of bridesmaids dresses our girls will wear. DIY Confetti Poppers

DIY Confetti Poppers

Hi Loves!

Ok, so I saw confetti poppers all over Instagram and fell in love with the thought of literally popping confetti everywhere! Dilemma: They are too expensive for a college gal like me. Solution: Make my own, duh! So now I’ll teach you and you too will be able to save some money and even customize them to match any celebration theme you would like!

These confetti poppers are great for birthday parties, bridal showers, and bachelorette parties. I’ve also seen these used during wedding ceremonies, which make for some pretty awesome pictures! I recently saw someone use them at a gender reveal party too! The reasons for popping these are endless. And honestly, you don’t need a reason to pop some confetti! Life itself is a party!
