Sometimes you just need to wine down. There’s nothing like going home after a long day at work, sitting on your couch, eating pizza, watching Netflix and drinking your favorite rosé wine. Rosé wines are my favorite – especially floral and tangy wines. I’m still on the hunt to find the perfect red wine that isn’t extremely bitter or dry – if you have any suggestions, feel free to comment below and give me your recommendations!
For now, I’ll be sharing my five absolute favorite affordable rosé wines you can conveniently pick up at your local grocery store!
I’ll have to admit that I first picked up this bottle because of the feminine packaging. I’m always a sucker for presentation. This rosé lands #1 on my list with its fruity and floral taste and a very subtle dry finish.
The packaging for this wine is absolute perfection. It has a glass topper that easily pops back in for storing any leftover wine – wait, is it possible to have leftover wine? The bottom of the glass is shaped like a rose – so unique! It is such a nice soft pink pale color. The Cote des roses has a tangy and floral taste – just the way I like it!
Pink Pinot Noir-Rosé
I couldn’t find a direct link to it, but trust me when I tell you, this bottle is gold, but a pink gold. It’s the bottle in the pictures! Obviously, the packaging lured me to this cute and modern bottle. This one is a sparking rosé wine, but I thought I’d include this one in the list. The palate is very light yet gives a delicate citrus taste. You can taste the strawberries and raspberries. It’s the perfect bottle to help decorate your bar cart.
I love how most rosé wines are so beautifully packaged. This wine comes in a very sleek bottle which is perfectly paired with rose gold details. This wine offers a red berry flavor with a bit of an apricot taste.
La Crema’s 2016 Monterey rosé has such a fresh citrus smell. You can actually smell strawberries which means I could smell this wine all day long. This rosé wine has a vibrant taste of watermelon, fresh red berries and mandarin orange.
Rosé wine is the perfect summer drink! With it becoming more and more popular, I notice new rosé bottles on the shelves and suddenly feel that I need to taste test them all! I really enjoy trying out new wines. I’m dying to hear what some of your favorite rosé wines are!
